40 Year Reunion – Class of 1975
Published on: 2 April 2015
39/40 is a great score. Forty years on, 39 mates from the Class of 1975 came together for dinner. The upstairs dining room at the Albion Hotel Cottesloe provided perfect atmospherics and boasted its own bar. The old boys provided riveting entertainment with speaker after speaker taking to the lectern to reminisce and trade anecdotes. In all, almost half the boys spoke and held the audience’s interest! The toast to absent friends was made by John Tregonning. Mike Milward made a great speech and David Utting spoke about those who had passed away. Full marks to Mike Wade for jetting in from the United Kingdom. Alexander Scutt, Grant Russell and Pierre Horwitz were welcome additions – if anything the comradery seems to be increasing with time! Plans are currently underway for a catch-up dinner in December 2015 for those unable to attend in March and anyone wanting seconds. Thank you to the organising committee of Matt Bogle, Kim Heaton, Neil Porter, Rod O’Dea and David Utting. Full marks to the Class of 1975.
