Chris WhiteChris White (1986) wrote that having spent the past 30 years as a national security professional in the Commonwealth Public Service with the Australian Army, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and more recently, the Office of Transport Security, he has taken on a couple of new challenges in 2015. In January, he moved to the Australian National University’s National Security College where he is managing the development and delivery of the College’s Executive and Professional Development Programs. Being surrounded by some of the nation’s leading academics and students may have inspired Chris’ new venture. Under the encouragement of his three daughters, Chris is now a Children’s Author, having published his first picture book, Hannah Paints the Moon in April this year. This is the first in the Hannah series. Based on stories he made up for his daughters at bedtime, Chris has now penned three other early years readers and is currently looking for an illustrator.
