Dianne Bain - OxfamDianne Bain (Admin Assistant OBA office) pictured in pink t-shirt, completed the 50km Oxfam walk in the Perth Hills on Saturday 10 October. The team of 4, known as ‘The Bushwalking Babes’ completed the 100km walk last year and with their fundraising efforts won a trip to participate in the 100km walk to be held in Hong Kong 20-22 November. The Hong Kong trail is known as the toughest of the Oxfam walks and was used by the Ghurkas as their training ground and with elevation of 1,000 metres Dianne says “it will definitely be a test of our strength and training”. Oxfam Australia works with local communities to help them create their own sustainable solutions to poverty. If you would like to support the team and donate to Oxfam click here.
