Two old boys and brothers were members of the team and were arguably the two best players during the final. George Ford (2010), pictured top, who is preparing for the Rio Olympic Games with the Aussie Sharks was outstanding. George won two PSA titles and was Captain and Best and Fairest of the First VII in his final year at school. His younger brother Andrew Ford (2012), pictured bottom, won the Tom Hoad Medal for the best player of the finals series. He scored four goals, including the equaliser late in the final game and a penalty in the shootout. He is highly regarded for his ability to create scoring opportunities and has one of the best shots in the country.
