Jakarta drinks

The Jakarta group got together for another drink on 27 October, with a couple of new faces. The venue was again Vin Plus and while not so much wine flowed this time the conversation flowed harder and faster, in both English and Indonesian, with more Indonesian as the evening wore on.

Leonarta Wijaya talked about his efforts in the Jakarta marathon on 25 October which explained why he was limping, while William Tanujaya talked about running in a half marathon soon. The old blokes made no such commitments. As to be expected, Indonesia’s political climate was well discussed but with no real conclusions.

Everyone enjoyed the get together and there are now plans for a pre-Christmas dinner for the next event.
