Joel Pember (1997) recently married Julia Macaskill (now Pember) a Kiwi girl who is a primary school teacher at Yokine Primary. The wedding took place in Bali and was attended by a strong CCGS contingent including Michael O’Connell (1997), Rodney Kalem (1997), Justin Lane (1997), Ryan White (1999), Michael Ryan (1999), Rick Warner-Jones (1999) and brothers Ben Pember (2000) and James Pember (2006). For Joel – He is now running a food business called Fine Food WA, making fresh WA foods for retail / supermarkets like Woolworths, IGA and Farmer Jacks and bulk food service customers like restaurants and cafes. Joel has been in this enterprise for about seven months now.
