The Alumni Office reconnected with Ned McNeilage (1984) recently, who has been living internationally for the past 20 years. For almost a decade, Ned was a Creative Director in advertising at Wieden + Kennedy. In fact, Ned’s first boss wrote those famous words for Nike ‘Just Do It’. Ned worked for five years as an agent at Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles, said to be the world’s number one talent agency, where he represented brands in the entertainment world and would see Spielberg, Cruise and others wandering the halls doing their deals. Last year, Ned directed two films which are playing in festivals this year. His most recent documentary film, which he produced and directed, is called Showfolk, which world premiere will be at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York later this month. He is currently living in LA but is moving to Sydney mid-year and plans to visit family in Perth later in the year.
