Obituary Notes
David ‘Bish’ Bishop (1990) was a respected and loved member of the Class of 1990, also a Prefect, whose life was cut short tragically in a car accident in New South Wales on 18 February 2014. A man of great character, and colour, Bish would meet old friends or new acquaintances with the same beaming smile and handshake. Bish was an inspiration to his friends, filling his life up like a boot from start to finish, working in accounting, property, computer science and film. Bish’s enduring passion was drama, kindled at Christ Church through the Midnite Youth Theatre Company, and reaching its peak with the 2009 international release of his seminal work, the zombie comedy feature film I am Bish. Bish’s hilarity and monologues will be greatly missed. Here’s to being Bishlashed.
