Many old boys successfully completed the 2014 Rottnest Channel Swim in near perfect conditions on 22 February. A team of four, comprising 1987 leavers Tony Morgan, Jason Walker, Toby Browne-Cooper and OBA President Adam Collins completed the crossing in six hours 24 minutes. The time was not the group’s best by a long way but was reflective of the age and training program of the participants.  1987 is a significant year for Christ Church swimming as it was the first time the School won the PSA Inters. Christ Church has now been PSA swimming champions on 10 occasions. The team of old boys from 1987 has made the crossing most years since 2000. The crossing was assisted by other old boys Norm Sudlow (1959) on his boat Narrator and Pat Browne-Cooper (1996). This year solo crossings were completed by Matt Rutter (1990) and Marcus Donato (1988). Congratulations to all old boys to took part in the event.
