Terrence Newton (1949) and Graham Tucker (1949) both came to Christ Church from Claremont Demonstration School on the corner of Bay View Terrace and Princess Road, Claremont. They met up for the first time since leaving school in 1949 in October when Graham was visiting Perth from NSW and the gentlemen enjoyed lunch at the University Club where they were joined by John Doust AM (1948). After school Graham was a journalist for the West Australian before moving to the Melbourne Herald. He joined the Australian National Travel Association and worked with others to put Australia on the map through offices in Auckland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, London and Tokyo. In the 1980s and 1990s he pursued publishing interests in Sydney (maps and travel books) and statistical / forecasting services for the government and private industry.
