  • The week that’s been
  • Melinda Tankard-Reist
  • New dietary requirements menu

Unfortunately our planned ANZAC Day commemorations were cancelled as a result of the weekend lockdown, however we still paid our respects by placing our wreath before our statue We will remember them in front of our Main Administration Building. Thank you to our cadets who assisted to lay the wreath on Friday afternoon. Photos are available here. Another cancelled event this week was our Year 12 Ball. We had many devastated Year 12 boys on Friday afternoon, however Mr Mark Morrissy and his team have been working tirelessly to find another date, and I thank him for his constant efforts to ensure our boys have their final year ball.

We were very privileged to host guest speaker and advocate for young people, Melinda Tankard-Reist today for the Year 10,11 and 12 cohorts. Melinda spoke with our boys regarding respect and responsibility and addressed the topics of sexualisation, objectification and how to resist harmful cultural messages and to make good choices. It is disappointing that Melinda’s presentation to parents needed to be postponed, but we hope to advise our community of the new date as soon as possible.

The “dietary requirements menu” in the canteen is now live. This menu incorporates gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian options to both students and staff. This menu is only available via online order only to ensure there is no cross contamination of allergens. Please order these items via your MSA Account, in the App or online here.
