  • Year 12 social events
  • Christ Church/St Hilda’s Combined Concert
  • Cyber safety community talk
  • Bus bay reminder

Over the past week our Year 12 boys have enjoyed both the Principal’s Dinner and School Ball. Both are exciting social events as well as being wonderful opportunities for the boys to improve important skills such as social etiquette, formal dining and hosting a date. The boys and their partners deserve much credit and praise for the manner in which they conducted themselves, and the gratitude they showed to the staff present was greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to the many boys involved in last Friday evening’s Christ Church/St Hilda’s Combined Concert. The two schools seamlessly combined to produce extraordinarily high quality music that culminated in a performance of Mozart’s Requiem involving hundreds of performers singing and playing.

The internet is without doubt one of the best resources available to us. At the same time, it can also be dangerous if you aren’t aware of who and what lurks behind the scenes. Everyone should know how to be safe when surfing the web, but internet safety tips and tricks are spread out all over the web. On Thursday 23 May we look forward to welcoming cyber safety expert and former West Australian Police Officer Paul Litherland as he conducts a free community talk to parents and friends of Christ Church. Paul will explore the dangers of the online world and what our children can do to protect themselves. Anyone interested in attending can register here.

And finally, a reminder to all parents that parking in the bus bays along Queenslea Drive during school pickup and drop off times will result in a fine by the Town of Claremont due to the traffic congestion this causes.
