The third round of the House Arts competition last week saw boys across the School compete in a variety of activities including Public Speaking and Chess.

This most recent round will lead into the Grand Final round later this month before culminating in the House Shout, which will take place in Term 3.

The House Arts is an annual opportunity for boys in the Senior School to engage and observe in Arts activities such as Public Speaking, Debating and Chess.

The current standings are:

  • Public Speaking (Senior) – Noake and Wolsey with a lead in Pool A (537.5 and 491.5 points respectively), while Romsey and Craigie lead in Pool B (592 and 589 points respectively)
  • Public Speaking (Junior) – Noake and Wolsey with a lead in Pool A (667.5 and 661.5 points respectively), while Craigie and Jupp lead in Pool B (701.5 and 694 points respectively)
  • Chess – Moyes and Wolsey with a lead in Pool A, while Craigie and Hill lead in Pool B
