At Christ Church Grammar School, the ringing of the bell is more than a tradition, it is a moment that marks both the beginning and end.

In their first week at the School, new students ring the bell to signal the start of their journey as Christ Church students. Years later, in Year 12, they ring the bell once more to mark the completion of that journey, bringing their time at Christ Church full circle.

This year, we warmly welcomed 99 new students to the Preparatory School and 112 to the Senior School. For each of them, the sound of the bell marks the start of an extraordinary journey – one that will shape their character, friendships, and memories for years to come.
