With Father’s Day coming up this Sunday, students and their fathers and significant figures came together across the Preparatory School this week to celebrate the important role they play in their lives.

In Kindergarten, the boys were excited to welcome their dads and significant figures into their classrooms for the morning. Drawn portraits of their ‘super dads’ filled the walls, while their guests were treated to hand and back massages, a special shaving experience and time at the making table. Together, they also made paper aeroplanes before heading outside to see how far they could fly.

Year 6 students and their fathers started their day with breakfast in the Refectory, hosted by the Parents’ Association. Head of Senior School Jamie Foster and Principal Alan Jones joined the morning, with Mr Foster sharing practical advice with families about supporting students as they prepare for the transition to Senior School.

Later that afternoon, Pre-Primary students and their fathers headed down to the Swan River for activities and time outdoors. The river is a key part of our Early Childhood program, providing an ever-changing environment where students can explore their natural curiosity, take positive risks and build confidence and resilience through nature-based learning.

Across the School, the week provided students with an opportunity to welcome their dads and significant figures into their School lives and spend time with the people they look up to and admire.
