The Prep and Senior House Cross Country Carnivals were held last Thursday and Friday afternoons in great running conditions.

The Prep Carnival saw the boys compete in their 1.5 to 2.1km races around the Mt Claremont playing fields. Dale House was once again victorious and Giles took home the Spirit Shield for their outstanding sportsmanship. The final results were Dale (934), Giles (651), Forrest (412) and Stirling (368). The Cross Country Champions were:

Year 3 Champion – Jake Smethurst
Year 4 Champion – Jakob Akhlil
Year 5 Champion – James Appleyard
Year 6 Champion – Hamish Brogan 

The Senior Carnival, contested throughout 4.94km of Kings Park bushland saw Noake and Queenslea Houses take out equal first, followed by Hill and Wolsey. Anthony Lynch, Director of Sport said it was a great event and congratulated all boys involved, particularly the Champion boys and place getters.

Senior Champion – Asad Yusoff
