The Preparatory School students took part in their annual athletics carnivals last week, a culmination of an intensive and fun athletics program.

The Pre-Primary to Year 2 boys participated in sprints, hurdles and a relay as well as team games such as egg and spoon, sack race and bean bag throw.

“It was a wonderful morning during which the boys impressed their parents and friends with their enthusiasm and skill,” said Brady Leckie, Prep School Sportsmaster.

Later in the week, the Years 3 to 6 boys enjoyed a great day of athletic competition, resulting in a spectacular win from Stirling House. The final results were Stirling (2258), Dale (2023), Giles (1869) and Forrest (1772).

Dale were awarded the Spirit Shield for their display of great sportsmanship and terrific attitude throughout the day. The champion boys were:

Runner-up: Nicholas Tomlinson
