Christ Church is proud to offer a rich and diverse music program that nurtures students’ talents and fosters a lifelong passion for the Arts.
A standout event in Term 3 was the annual Spring Music Concert, celebrating the Preparatory School’s music ensembles. From Kindergarten to Year 6, students performed a wide range of songs that showcased both their skill and dedication. Memorable moments included the percussion ensemble’s vibrant rendition of Nancy Mulligan by Ed Sheeran and the incredible performance by the Mini Maestros, our youngest string players.
As part of the term’s Week of the Arts, each year level also presented their Class Concerts. These concerts offer students a platform to perform confidently in front of their peers and celebrate their musical progress.
“Music is a powerful way for our students to express themselves and build confidence,” said Eboney Yapp, Preparatory School Music Teacher. “Watching their growth and enthusiasm throughout these performances is incredibly rewarding and it truly reflects the value we place on music at the School.”
Through these varied musical experiences, Christ Church continues to cultivate an inclusive and dynamic music culture that inspires students to embrace their creativity and share their love of music.
