The Midnite Youth Theatre Company’s 2017 Season was officially launched by Artistic Director Gregory Jones at the Midnite Feast last Thursday. This is one of Midnite’s most significant nights, with coveted honours presented to outstanding members of the theatre company for the year.

Leo Award winners included Olivia Everett, Rupert Williamson, Olivia Ferguson, Dan Stark, Nicholas Warrand, Kael McGrechan, Sam Elias, Edward Elias and Nathan Tan.

The winner of the Tim Willoughby Award for Outstanding Performance went to Adam Di Tullio for his role in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. The Midnite Award was presented to Rick Hearder.

Celebrating the excitement and success of the past year, more than 150 people were privy to a sneak peak of the 30th anniversary season ahead. 2017 will see performances of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Stories from Suburban Road, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Pirates of the Curry Bean and Get Smart.
