Last week, Midnite Youth Theatre Company wowed audiences with four vibrant performances of The Comedy of Errors at the Christ Church Drama Centre. The talented cast featured thirty-five Year 9 and 10 students from a number of schools across Perth.

The fast-paced Shakespearean comedy was creatively reimagined on a Greek island in the 1980s. Bold costumes by designer Jay Waugh and a colourful village set by Sarah Duyvestyn brought the production to life, providing a new spin on a classic play.

Director Jodie Busby said the cast’s commitment to the production was admirable.

“I’m so proud of these amazing students – their creativity, joy, enthusiasm, and individual talents helped create a truly unique performance of a classic text” she said.

“It’s been incredible to watch them grow and bring this production to life.”

Congratulations to the Midnite Youth Theatre Company on another successful and entertaining run.
