Last Friday, Christ Church proudly held the annual Principal’s Cadet Parade, a special occasion recognising the outstanding achievements of our Cadet Unit over the past year. The event was well-attended by proud families, friends, staff, and members of the wider school community.

Principal Alan Jones had the privilege of presenting awards to those who displayed outstanding dedication, leadership, and service throughout the year.

The evening continued with the Principal’s Dinner, held in honour of our Year 12 Cadets. This special gathering brought together parents, school leadership, and representatives from the Australian Defence Force and Cadet organisations to mark the culmination of our senior Cadets’ journey. It was a fitting tribute to the perseverance, growth, and teamwork they have demonstrated during their time in the program.

Robert Coales, Officer Commanding Cadets, shared his reflections:

“The Cadets program is designed to foster resilience, build character, and equip students with essential life skills that extend far beyond the classroom. Throughout the year, our Cadets demonstrate focus, perseverance, and a willingness to embrace challenges.”

“Events like the Principal’s Cadet Parade and Dining-in Night offer them a well-deserved opportunity to showcase their growth and accomplishments, both as individuals and as a team.”

Congratulations to the entire Cadet Unit, and to this year’s award recipients, for their remarkable contributions and unwavering commitment.
