The Year 12 boys were buzzing with excitement on Saturday evening, as they attended the most anticipated night in their School calendar, the Year 12 Ball.

Dressed to impress in tuxedos and ball gowns, the boys and their partners sipped on mocktails in the hotel foyer, before being presented to Mr and Mrs Wynne and the Captain of School Jack Hawkesford and his partner.

On entering the Hyatt Ballroom they were greeted with the formality of ‘five point’ long stem candelabras, special lighting on the white tablecloths and wafts of smoke from the DJs haze machine.

The boys and their partners enjoyed an exceptional buffet with something for everyone. This was followed by a selection of delicious desserts and dancing into the night. The DJ had the whole room moving, covering a variety of musical genres. Even the staff felt at ease on the dance floor with a number of songs from their younger days.

Throughout the night students had the opportunity for formal photographs, along with a fun photo booth set up with the props, wigs and sunglasses.

At the conclusion of the evening, Vice Captain of School Hunter Jackson delivered a number of presentations to recognize and celebrate some of the dancing and outfits before doors were opened and the limousines returned. The evening was a great success for all involved.
