Romsey House won the Senior School House Swimming Carnival held at Challenge Stadium on Tuesday night. Romsey, which finished fourth in 2013, claimed four of the six age categories to secure victory.

With 749 points, Romsey took home the Lapinski-McCoubrie Cup ahead of second-placed Noake on 723, followed by Moyes (669.5), Wolsey (639), Craigie (617.5), Hill (583) and Queenslea (484).

Year 11 students Jeremy Hopkins (R) and Lawrence Mitchell (N) set a number of new school records in the Under 17 events. Jeremy’s records included the 50m Freestyle (25.46), 50m Breaststroke (34.36) and 100m Breaststroke (1:17.26). Lawrence set new records in the 100m Freestyle (57.44), 50m Backstroke (29.73) and 50m Butterfly (28.37).

Queenslea House set a new record in the Under 17 4x50m Medley Relay (2:15.38) as did Romsey House in the Under 17 4x50m Freestyle Relay (1:55.95).
