Perth Scorchers Vice-Captain and 2010 old boy Ashton Turner made a special appearance at Round 1 of the 2018 Darlot Cricket Season against Trinity, presenting caps to each of the debutants in our First XI Cricket team.

“Since graduating from Christ Church, Ashton has been a successful professional cricketer where he debuted for Australia during the 2012-13 season and is now contracted to the Perth Scorchers as the current Vice-Captain,” says Christ Church Grammar School Director of Sport, Anthony Lynch.

“Ashton has previously coached junior teams and its fantastic to have old boys like Ashton back at the School, fully engaged in the development of our junior cricket players.”

The Darlot Cup is the First XI Cricket trophy of the PSA and is held during Term 1 each year.

Our First XI Cricket team now look to play against Hale School in Round 2 of the Darlot Cup. Good luck, boys!
