The Christ Church swimming squad claimed victory at the Quadrangular swim meet on Tuesday night, after another fantastic night in the pool.

The final results were Christ Church on 1546 point, followed by Wesley (1275), Trinity (1174) and Scotch (1095).

Kai Wylie broke the Under 13 50m Freestyle record in a new time of 28.16.

Oliver Moran had a great race in the Under 13 50m Backstroke, breaking the record in a time of 34.90. Minutes later, Kai Wylie set a new record for this event, swimming the distance in 33.89.

Oliver Moran, Ryan Verley, Kai Wylie and Angus Sheldrick set a new record in the Under 13 50m Medley Relay with a time of 2:23.14, beating the old record of 2:25.36, a fantastic effort by the boys.

Jonte Blake 1st in Div 1 Under 17 100m Freestyle (55.79)
Ben Cunningham 1st in Div 1 Under 17 100m Breaststroke (1:16.22)
Hugh Moran 1st in Div 1 Freestyle (27.01) and 1st in Backstroke (31.38)
Nic Throssell fastest 50m Freestyle split of the night (25.74) in the Open Medley
Daniel South fastest freestyle leg for the boarding community (29.46)
Andrew Slee new personal best for 50m Freestyle in relay of (27.09)

The team is looking forward to another successful night of swimming at the PSA Inters Swimming Carnival on Thursday 10 March 5.15pm at HBF Stadium.
