Residential Community celebrates rich diversity
Published on: 15 August 2019
Last Friday evening saw a wonderful celebration of our Residential Community with boarders joined by their families, friends, exchange students, special guests and staff.
The celebration included a refection by Year 7 student Tom Grylls on his transition into boarding, beautiful piano performances by Bingchen Cai (Year 11) and James Dick (Year 12), a NAIDOC Week presentation by Revis Ryder (Year 8), Jonah Brooks (Year 9), Tyrell Stewart (Year 10) and Dontay Bolton (Year 12), plus many other talks and performances.
“I was so proud of the way the Prefects ran the evening and the way that each of the performers spoke and played with confidence,” said Director of the Residential Community, Mr Brad Downing.
“It was also a great opportunity to connect with the many of our boarding parents, staff and guests after the celebration.”
“On behalf of the Residential Community, I would like to thank all families who joined us and special mention to those who travelled long distances to make it.”
