Earphone issues and suggested alternatives

Due to student reports of product issues, parents of Year 7 and 8 students who purchased Qudo branded USB-C earphones from Officeworks for their son’s 2024 stationery list are advised to return the product for a refund and purchase one of the suggested alternatives below. These products have been successfully trialled with their device models:
- Ludos Ferox USB-C Headphones – comes with protective case ideal for storing in pencilcase
- Type-C Bud Earphones (white) – Kmart
- Type-C Pod Earphones (black) – Kmart
- NRG Wired Earphone With Microphone USB-C 1 each – Coles
- Laser USB-C Earphones with Microphone (white) – BIG W
- EarPods (USB-C) – Apple (AU)
We require students to have wired earphones due to Bluetooth being disconnected when sitting NAPLAN and other standardised tests. This is the first time the School has asked Year 7 and 8 students to purchase USB-C earphones as part of their stationery list and we apologise that this product has not met our shared expectations.
