This week we will inform the boys and families of class placements for 2018. This is a time of great excitement in the Prep School as the boys lift their heads from the activity of 2017 and look towards 2018, and towards enjoying the Orientation Day held next Friday, 17 November.

A great deal of thought and effort is invested in the creation of the new classes as we endeavour to balance them in terms of academic and social-emotional strength and need.

If your son is disappointed with his class placement, I urge you to encourage him to be positive toward this change. The way we speak to our son/s, the way we respond when our children are faced with disappointment has significant bearing on how they will approach challenges in the future. Experience and research tells us that resilience, grit and determination deliver greater success in the future, in all aspects of life.
