To celebrate the wonderful learning and teaching technologies at Christ Church we will be participating in Digital Learning Day on 23 February. Christ Church is officially the first Australian school to register and host a Digital Learning Day event.

As part of Digital Learning Day the School will host a virtual reality ‘sandpit’ in both the Preparatory and Senior Schools, providing participants the chance to experience VR and experiment with new technology. The day will allow education leaders to highlight great teaching practices and showcase instructional technology programs which are improving student outcomes.

Originating in the United States, Digital Learning Day started as a way to actively spread innovative practices and ensure youth have access to high-quality digital learning opportunities no matter where they live. The event has now spread throughout Europe and Asia.

If you would like to know more about Digital Learning Day please contact the School’s Digital Learning Coordinator, Robert Dodds.
