On Saturday, two teams consisting of Year 5 and 6 students represented Christ Church at the Tournament of Minds Challenge, held at ECU Joondalup.

Following six weeks of preparation, the students delivered impressive ten-minute performances that highlighted their creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. One team presented an artistic interpretation of Shaun Tan’s The Rabbits, while the other explored the impact of pollution on the environment through a STEM-themed play.

Both teams also took on a spontaneous challenge, requiring quick thinking, teamwork, and innovative problem-solving under pressure.

A special congratulations goes to The Dynamic 7, Leon Ng, Charlie Boulton, Noah Feeney, Thomas Beaver, Arthur Gibb, Henry Stone, and Elijah Riordan, who have advanced to the State Finals in two weeks. They now have the exciting opportunity to qualify for the National Finals in Sydney this October.
