Community spirit shines through Kearla House Donation Drive
Published on: 17 June 2026
This week, Kearla House is proudly leading a Preparatory School-wide donation drive in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities WA. The response from the community has been exceptional, with generous donations throughout the week.
A range of essential items has been donated, including toiletries, books, games, toys, baby products and non-perishable food; a significant collection of support for those in need.
Ronald McDonald House Charities WA provides a home-away-from-home for families who need to stay close to their child during medical treatment. The donations collected will help provide comfort, care and practical support during an especially challenging time.
The timing of the initiative has aligned meaningfully with classroom learning, as Preparatory students have recently been exploring themes of giving and generosity. This followed Giving Day last week, providing an opportunity for students to connect their learning with real-world action.
There is still time to contribute, with donations welcome today and tomorrow. Those able to take part are encouraged to send items to school with their son.
We extend our thanks to all who have supported the initiative and are proud of the meaningful difference being made together.
