Last week, Senior School students took part in several exciting PSA competitions.

Last Monday, Drama students Hawk Hughes (Captain), Jasper Hatton, Sam Singleton, Hudson Black and Nic Cradock took away the top spot in the PSA Theatre Sports competition. You can read more about the event in a news article here.

The inaugural PSA Public Speaking contest was held on Wednesday at Wesley College with students Jeremiah Wang (Captain) and Aden Frias de Norohona competing in the Christ Church team. Aden secured the championship and presented the trophy to Principal Alan Jones during last Week’s Senior School assembly.

This was followed by the PSA Golf competition with Zeph Netherway (Captain), Oliver Corcoran, Declan Church, Ryan Fan, Oliver Laird, Thomas Pyke, Sam Singleton and James Tran competing. The students placed fourth with Trinity College in first place.

The PSA Badminton team retained the PSA trophy. Congratulations to Bailey Alcock (Captain), Kevin Shen (Vice-Captain), Ben Cui, Francis Hor, Jayden Jusuf, Devon Pan, Stephan Shen, Steven Zhao on their victory.

Following on from their success last year, the PSA Surfing team took home the championship again during what was a day of perfect conditions at Scarborough Beach.

The PSA Cross Country team were the champions in their competition, capping off an undefeated season by finishing first in the Ray Brown 8km race in Kings Park. See the results from the race and season below.
