After a long wait in the queue snaking up and down Wimbledon Park, we headed inside and into another queue to wait for the outside courts to open. Rain interrupted the wait and for a while we were concerned there would be no play. Fortunately, the dark clouds cleared and we experienced a good English summer day. Most of our group looked at the draw and decided to head for Court 17 to watch Kevin Anderson and Fabio Fognini (20th and 16th seeds), where we were rewarded with a five-set match after a long wait. After this, the boys moved around to several courts. As many courts only had three rows of seats and a small gap to the tramline, they enjoyed some up-close and personal experiences with the players. After playing matches against Sevenoaks, Abingdon, Eton and Tonbridge, the boys play their last fixture in England (Canterbury) tomorrow, before we head to Germany and Spain.
