Christ Church old boy and Olympian swimmer Tommaso D’Orsogna (2007) provided motivation to the PSA Inters swim team last night ahead of tonight’s competition at HBF Stadium.

Over pasta, Tommaso spoke on mindfulness, being present in the minute and not being distracted by the desired outcome. He also spoke on doing your very best whilst acknowledging that you cannot control everything. To finish off, Tommaso left a friendly word of advice for our swimmers – to have fun and cherish experiences that will remain with you forever.

“120 of our Year 7 to 12 boys enjoyed a wonderful and inspiring talk followed by a fantastic range of pasta meals provided by the parents, all in preparation for the energy and excitement of tonight’s PSA Inters” said Neil Saggers who attended the evening.

Tommaso holds several swimming achievements including an Olympic bronze medal, dual Commonwealth Games gold medal and World Championship medal. During his time at Christ Church he also set several school swimming records.
