One hundred and fifty kilograms of second hand Christ Church and MLC uniforms have found new homes, after they were donated to the WA-based Global Hand Charity.

Founded by Christ Church parent Dr Rachel Sheffield, the charity works in disadvantaged communities in Laos. Thanks to the generous donations of used uniform items by parents, the uniform shop is able to provide Global Hand with many items of clothing.

Dr Sheffield has reported that for many young people under her care in Laos, their best garment is an item of the Christ Church uniform. She said the clothes were extremely well received and the children and teachers were delighted.
