Instead of flying home to Australia after the USA STEM Tour, the adventures continued for Year 10 student Ari Fisher who flew on to New York to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall. Ari is one of our Music Scholars and is a cellist in the band Trio Fantastique. Together with his violinist sister Uma Sky from St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls, and pianist Jordan Scott from Hale School, the trio soaked up every moment as they brought the house down. This once in a lifetime experience is a testament to Ari’s incredible talent and dedication to music. He will be performing at tonight’s Scholars’ Recital alongside his peers – a highlight of the Music calendar that showcases the exceptional talent of our Christ Church musicians.

While there were no photos or videography permitted in the venue, Ari’s family captured some behind the scenes photos which we are delighted to share with the Christ Church community to celebrate his success. Earlier this year, Trio Fantastique recorded for Kawai Japan, and have won international competitions including World Classical Music Awards, Golden Key Music Festival’s GOLD Award, and the Judges’ Best Performance Award for Vienna Virtuoso Competition 2024.
