Year 5/6 Winter Sport

Summer Sport has now concluded. Winter Sport will begin on Thursday 6 April with trial matches. Please click here for venue & fixtures details (JPSSA Matches begin April 27).

Boys will need to be in their full Winter Sport uniform (see the Uniform shop for details), including mouthguards, as coaches will be conducting trials on the day. Please note Martial Arts and Diamond Fitness will have a modified activity, as their program begins in Term 2.

Training for all Winter Sport begins in Week 2 of Term 2. Training details can be found on the Winter Sport Selection sheet. A copy of the Winter Sport selection sheet and the Sport Squads can be found here.

Prep boys join coding revolution While not every student is destined to become a programmer, boys in our Preparatory School have taken on a fun and engaging project involving robotics as part of the Australian Curriculum’s push for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) in schools across the nation. read more

Future problem solvers progress to Internationals Two representing teams from Christ Church Grammar School took part in the recent 28th National Future Problem Solving Nationals held at Knox Grammar School in New South Wales, placing third and fourth in the competition with one of our teams now progressing to the Internationals. read more

Space Techsploration Prior to the end of last term our Year 5s took part in a surreal world event titled ‘Space Techsploration.’ Combining engaging science with immersive technology, the students got to expand their understanding of our modern-day solar system. read more

IPSHA Performing Arts Festival 2017 Our Year 5 boys were shining stars at the recent Independent Primary Schools Heads Association (IPSHA) Performing Arts Festival, performing in front of a number of independent schools at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre’s Riverside Theatre. read more
