Last week our boys enjoyed themselves competing in their respective athletics carnivals.

After many concerted track and field training sessions over the past two months, our Prep School boys performed incredibly well coming third in last Thursday’s competition. This is a significant improvement on past years and signifies a fabulous team effort.

Our Senior School team finished in fifth place. On the day seven school records were broken and several boys achieved the highest point scores in their age division and personal best performances.

Recently, some of our boarders visited a farm (thank you to the Stevenson family) under the direction of Mr Ly. They all thoroughly enjoyed the open spaces and rural experience. The boys spent time touring the property, building a bonfire and enjoyed camping in the shed and visiting the town of Cunderdin. This would have been unique for our international boys on the trip. More on the visit can be found here.

I am really looking forward to our last week of term when we celebrate the Preparatory School’s The Week of the Arts. During the week, we welcome parents, grandparents and special friends to participate and enjoy the many talents of our boys, commencing with a special concert and drama preview in the Chapel on Sunday at 2.00pm.

A reminder that we have Dr Arne Rubinstein talking next Monday night in the Chapel at 7.30pm. Arne has been pivotal to the School’s creation of The Making of Men program, which has been specifically designed for our Year 9 boys and commences in February 2018. You can book a place here.
