Parents new to the School this year were welcomed to the Christ Church Community this week when the Preparatory School and Senior School New Parent Sundowners were held.

Normally held at the beginning of the year, they were delayed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Attendees received an address by Principal Alan Jones, Council Chair Paul Johnson and the respective Heads of School – Steven Males and Mark Morrissy before networking with fellow new parents. A string ensemble also performed for parents in attendance.

Principal Alan Jones said the sundowners were a great opportunity to welcome new parents into the Christ Church community.

“We pride ourselves on being a tight-knit school, so providing parents with the opportunity to network with their peers is an excellent way to start building those connections,” he said.
