Our Year 6 leaders for Term 3 were recently announced and presented with their official badges.

New Preparatory School Captain, Lucas Viiala and Chapel Captains, Soren Grubb and Nicholas Tien will be responsible for leading chapel services and assemblies, while the student leaders of Karda, Wardung, Kearla and Yonga will be responsible for leading their House group activities throughout the term.

“Being a school leader is an outstanding role to get. I feel grateful and privileged to be given this role and I will make the most of it,” said newly appointed School Captain, Lucas Viiala.

“Being a Chapel Captain in Term 3 will be a big milestone for me, not only because I love public speaking, but because of the opportunity to achieve and serve. My goals to achieve this term are simple; connect with younger boys, build a reputation and encourage people about being in a Christian school,” says Chapel Captain, Soren Grubb.

Director of Pastoral Care, Planning and Co-Curricular, Kim Morcom commented, “These leadership roles provide our Year 6 boys with the opportunity to practice their public speaking, role model appropriate behaviour, develop personal confidence and build on their organisational skills.”

“This really helps our boys with their transition into the Senior School as well as demonstrating the importance of helping their younger peers.”
