Year 4 students are discovering what constitutes a successful entrepreneur as part of the Centre for Excellence’s new ‘Shark Tank’ initiative.

The program challenges students to analyse how innovative ideas can and have helped people on a global scale.

The boys are learning about famous entrepreneurs, the impact of their projects and how they transform an idea in to a product or service.

CoE Co-ordinator Victoria Wisker believes this process develops students critical thinking “The boys investigate the traits of great entrepreneurs, discover how their plans blossom and reflect on why we need new ideas”.

Shark Tank is a targeted program, designed to challenge high-ability students by introducing work that is more open in regard to solutions, decisions, and approaches and then integrating technology, getting them to work together and accommodating their pace of learning.
