In September 2017, the School conducted the annual MMG Education survey as part of its commitment to continually review and improve the quality of education provided to your sons.

Considerable time was invested in determining the questions and parents of our Years 3, 6, 9 and 12 students and boys in Years 6, 9 and 12 were invited to participate. As with past years, we have found the feedback to be comprehensive, providing invaluable information to assist with decision making and continuous improvement, and I am pleased to provide a link to the high-level results.

Some of our most valuable innovations are a direct result of your feedback, and this year I am delighted to be launching the Building Good Men (BGM) site. This initiative was conceived in response to parents continually reflecting back to us that they want the School to be a partner and assist in aspects of their boy’s mental, physical and spiritual development as well as their academic journey.

BGM provides the community with greater visibility and access to the work of two significant areas of our educational offering, and two aspects that I believe set this school apart from others:

(1) our approach to teaching, known as our pedagogy (the art and science of teaching) led by recently appointed Mr Les Goh, and

(2) The Wynne Centre for Boys’ Health and Wellbeing, led by Liam Casson.

The BGM site contains short articles on education, health and wellbeing authored by experts, our staff and community members. I recommend that over the weekend you take time to visit the site and enjoy some of the articles on offer, you may also like to recommend BGM to your family and friends using the social media icons.
