Old Boy Chris Kelsall (’84) recently gave a presentation to Year 12 Physics students about his work as CEO of Tokamak Energy in the revolutionary field of commercial fusion energy.

Tokamak Energy is one of the world leaders in the race to develop commercial fusion energy – a clean energy solution with potential to mitigate climate change and maintain energy security.

Dr Kelsall’s presentation explained how fusion energy works, why it is the future of global energy production and Tokamak’s unique approach to the technology.

Dr Kelsall opened the floor to questions from the boys with questions ranging from the physics behind the function of the technology to how to pursue a career in fusion energy.
