Over 80 band members from the School’s Rock Workshop took to the Chapel forecourt this term to perform covers of legendary rock songs and a few originals in front of a wowed audience as part of this year’s Rock Extravaganza.

Fifteen bands, comprised of boys from Years 2 to 11, performed popular hits by artists including U2, Oasis, AC/DC and The Beatles.

Director of Rock Workshop, Mr Jozef Grech commented, “The Rock Extravaganza represents a culmination of all of the hard work the bands have been putting in throughout the year.”

“Performing in front of a live audience is such a great learning experience for the boys and for the friends and family there’s nothing like the experience of seeing all their son’s hard work and talent right there on the stage.”

Thank you to all of the Music Department and Rock Workshop teachers for working with the students to prepare them for this year’s performance, as well as our Friends of Music (FoM) parent volunteers who provided food and drinks during the event.
