The Midnite Youth Theatre company will kick off its first production of the 2021 season next week when the Midnite Ensemble performs the iconic Australian play Away.

Written by Michael Gow, the play tells the story of three internally conflicted families holidaying on the coast for Christmas, 1968. Set against the backdrop of war and a social revolution, they find themselves caught up in a storm of family secrets and conflict.

‘Away is one of Australia’s defining works of art, a wonderful story of family, community and forgiveness’, said Artistic Director, Gregory Jones.

The Midnite Ensemble will be performing Away at the Christ Church Drama Centre each night between Wednesday 10 March 2021 7.00pm and Saturday 13 March 2021 7.00pm.
