If you walked out onto the Prep School oval during lunch on Wednesday you’d see flamingoes, footy players, superheroes and even Spongebob Squarepants everywhere you looked…printed on the boys’ socks of course. The boys in the Prep School were wearing all manner of crazy and colourful socks in support of Students’ Scholarship. By donating a gold coin to the scholarship, the boys not only got to add a touch of flair to their uniforms but helped to raise awareness of the Student Scholarship and inspire generosity amongst the rest of boys in the Senior School.

Announced by our Senior Prefects last week. The Students’ Scholarship is a campaign that is ‘by the boys, for the boys’, the aim of which is to raise enough funds to provide three years of tuition for a boy who would otherwise not be able to attend Christ Church. The campaign focuses on demonstrating to our boys the way that they can come together as a community to bring about change.

Boys are encouraged to donate via their tutorial groups. More information can be found here.
