On Saturday 21 March enthusiastic school supporters flocked to Champion Lakes to witness the 2015 Head of the River.

All Christ Church crews rowed exceptionally well on the day, with their placings a direct result of effort and application over the entire season.

The 2nd VIII won their race, which was anticipated by the coaches who have seen significant improvement over the course of the year. A fabulous way to end the season, and promising sign for 2016.

Christ Church 1st VIII came 4th in the Head of the River. The crew had a great start and led the field for the first 500m however failed to maintain their advantage throughout the race. Scotch College finally won what was a very close race and saw 1st to 4th positions separated by only 4 seconds.

All rowers can be very proud of their efforts this season.
