On Saturday, our Christ Church rowing community had a fantastic day at Champion Lakes for the 2016 Head of the River. Close to six thousand people attended the event which is always a highlight in the PSA calendar.

All Christ Church crews rowed exceptionally well, with their placings a direct result of the effort they put into the season.

Our First VIII had a great race in the Head of the River, finishing second behind Trinity by only half a boat length. The Second VIII finished fourth while the Third VIII won their race.

The final results of the 2016 Hamer Cup were Trinity 265, Guildford 252, Christ Church 227, Hale 225, Scotch 222, Aquinas 211 and Wesley 133.
