Christ Church finished in second place behind Hale School in the PSA Swimming Carnival held at Challenge Stadium last week. Teacher in Charge of Aquatics Luke Farmer said the night marked the conclusion of another successful swimming season for Christ Church.

Mr Farmer said although the School did not win the PSA title, the team was extremely competitive and represented Christ Church proudly. The final placings were Hale (1,131 points), Christ Church (960), Wesley (832.5), Scotch (731), Trinity (691), Aquinas (651.5) and Guildford (409).

“The school community is extremely proud of the swimmers for their dedicated preparation in the lead up to the event but importantly, their performance on the night,” he said. “The School’s strong swimming culture was once again on display. While we only managed to win one individual race, our depth and ability allowed us to finish in the top three places in all but two relays.”

Mr Farmer thanked the coaching staff, age group managers, the leadership group of 2014 and parents. Christ Church swimmers who performed well on the night included:
